Two of three people charged in connection with the theft of $10,000 from a Weatherly home entered guilty pleas in Carbon County court on Tuesday.

The third failed to appear for her proceeding and had a bench warrant issued for her arrest. One received a state prison term, while the second had his sentencing deferred.Dylan Brett Danko, 23, of McAdoo, and Christian Matthew Bennett, 26, of Weatherly, entered pleas before Judge Joseph J. Matika. The third defendant, Jocelyn Helen Tiglio, 21, of Weatherly, failed to appear and had a bench warrant issued for her arrest.Danko pleaded to one count of burglary, a felony one; while Bennett pleaded to one count of receiving stolen property, a misdemeanor one.Weatherly police charged the trio with entering the home of Jean Hill, 563 Sixth St., on May 15, 2012, and taking the cash.Police said Danko was the person who actually entered the home and took the money while Bennett and Tiglio waited outside in woods near the Weatherly Area High School.Danko told investigators he used his share of the money to buy a car and pay rent for his apartment. Bennett said he got $1,500 to "keep quiet" about the incident. In exchange for the pleas other counts of theft, burglary, criminal trespass and receiving stolen property were dropped.Bennett said he was charged with a probation violation because of the arrest and is serving a four month prison term for that offense. Bennett also asked that a state term be imposed because he feels the state system has programs to help him with a recurring addiction problem.Matika sentenced him to serve nine to 24 months in a state correctional institution, get a drug and alcohol evaluation, zero tolerance for drug and alcohol use, make restitution of $1,500, render 75 hours of community service when paroled, pay court costs of about $1,000 and have no contact with the victim. He was given credit for 67 days already spent in jail on the charge.Matika deferred sentencing Danko and ordered the adult probation office to prepare a presentence investigation report.
