Michelle E. Rickert, daughter of Randy and Lorie Rickert of Lehighton, graduated with a bachelor of science degree in neuroscience and sociology from Moravian College in Bethlehem.

Rickert was a member of Brain Club, Psychology Club, and Women in Science and Engineering. She was also involved in Psi Chi-International Honor Society in Psychology, serving as vice president, and AKD International Honor Society in Sociology. She received the honor of the Neuroscience Award and Emerging Leader. While at Moravian, she was on the dean's list eight times.Rickert is a graduate of Palmerton Area High School.
