Lansford police are currently looking for a suspect wanted in connection with an assault in the borough earlier this evening.

An alert came over the scanner just after 9 p.m. for residents to be on the lookout for Brian Eck, who was last seen walking toward Summit Hill.He is described as a 38-year-old white man, approximately 175 pounds, bald with a goatee. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a green shirt with camouflage on it.Anyone with information on Eck is asked to contact Lansford police at 570-645-5844.
