Sunday worship at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., with Holy Communion is at 9:30 a.m. Gluten-free communion wafers are available for those with allergies. The church is air-conditioned. The Rev. Nancy Moore presides. Vicar Lauren Heywood assists. A meet-and-greet brunch is at 10:30 in the newly appointed vicar's honor.Two parishioners will accompany Moore and Heywood as they represent Trinity at the NEPA synod assemblyFriday and Saturday at the PPL Center in Allentown.Trinity will be participating in the "Festival of Faith Day" during Lehighton's Sesquicentennial celebration on June 26. The church will be open 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. There will be guided tours offered on the half-hour, plus organ selections from minister of music Susan Lovejoy, and refreshments.Trinity's Community Vacation Bible School "Cave Quest" is 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 11-15, for children age 3 through grade six. The sessions are aimed to assist children to follow their faith by exploring who Jesus is: the light of the world. The free registration information is available in the narthex.
