Polka for Pets was held Sunday in the Lehighton Grove to local animal shelters.

Fourteen vendors were set up including the Lehighton Area Lioness Club, Animal Shelter of Carbon, Carbon County Friends of Animals, and Cat's Peek Rescue.Animals were available for adoption and donations were given to shelters and clubs. Shelters also had food and pet toys for purchase.The Pennsylvania Villagers played a variety of music to entertain the crowd.
