Two days after learning he was named Outstanding Council Member of the Year by the Pennsylvania State Association of Boroughs, Tamaqua councilman Micah Gursky was honored by the House of Representatives. On Thursday, state Rep. Jerry P. Knowles, R-124, presented to Gursky a citation describing him as a person who "truly exemplifies the best qualities of the human experience and his spirit of giving and dedication has greatly enhanced the lives of others."
