A young man was injured Monday morning when involved in a crash along Canal Road in Franklin Township near the intersection of Long Run Road. The crash occurred around11 a.m. as the male was riding his Kawasaki motorcycle east and was involved in an incident. It is unclear if another vehicle was involved. The victim was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics then transported to an area hospital. The FranklinTownship fire company responded to the scene. Franklin Township chief of police Tom Beltz is investigating the incident.
