ALLENTOWN (AP) - Authorities say a man was arrested in the stabbing death of another man in his ex-girlfriend's apartment after authorities allege that he broke into the unit.
Twenty-two-year-old Hector Arroyo-Rivera of Allentown is charged in Lehigh County with criminal homicide, burglary and terroristic threats in the death of 20-year-old Angel Nieves-Cirino.Authorities said the woman told police that Arroyo-Rivera was armed with a knife when he kicked in her front window at about 5 a.m. Saturday, and she told them that he stabbed the victim repeatedly as he tried to flee.Authorities said Arroyo-Rivera was arrested hours later in Reading. He remains in prison without bail; court documents indicate that he will be represented by the county public defender's office, which couldn't be reached over the weekend.
