A motorist escaped injury Sunday morning in a crash along Route 902 in Summit Hill.

The incident occurred at 8 a.m. as the male was traveling south on Route 902 on Bugzie's mountain. He apparently failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway entering the right berm and mounting the guardrail.

The truck traveled for a distance before coming to rest atop the rails. The driver managed to self extricate himself. Summit Hill fire police maintained traffic control at the scene. Summit Hill police are investigating the incident. The incident was about a mile south of Mountain Top road.
