A 2-year-old boy suffered injuries after he ran into a vehicle Monday in Lehighton.
Lehighton Police said the toddler ran out of a house on North West Alley as his father was attempting to grab him and into the alley at 5:39 p.m.Police said the toddler ran into the side of a Ford Fiesta operated by Racye Miller, 53, of Lehighton,The toddler was transported to a trauma center for treatment. His name and condition are not available.No charges have been filed.Mike Miller, the husband of Racye, said he and his wife have received messages on Facebook from people they don't know."We've had a lot of Facebook negativities and emails," he said. "It makes it look like that we hit a child with our car, and we didn't."The couple lives down the street from where the incident occurred."We were very sorry; we feel bad for the child, but it was not avoidable," Miller said."Everybody is blaming us for the accident," he said.
