Rush Township police have cited the following people for retail thefts at the HT Commons Walmart in Hometown.
Samantha McGeehan, 24, of Lansford, is facing retail theft and receiving stolen property charges after stealing $27.44 worth of merchandise on April 29.Mariah Miller, 20, of Coaldale, is facing retail theft and receiving stolen property charges after stealing $24.74 worth of merchandise on April 29.Edward Coyle, 35, of Tamaqua, is facing retail theft valued at $35.91, receiving stolen property, and false identification to law enforcement which occurred on May 3.Coyle was arraigned by Judge Stephen Bayer, of Tamaqua, and lodged in the Schuylkill County prison. Coyle is also wanted by the New Jersey State Police.Tamaqua Police cited Matthew C. Dale, 24, of 135 W. Miner St., Coaldale, for retail theft after he tried to steal two T-shirts from the Dollar General Store, 1213 E. Broad St., Tamaqua. Dale was caught putting the shirts in his pants on May 11.
