Monroe County Historical Association will host "History in Bloom - A tour of central Monroe County's gardens" from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 4. The rain date is June 11.

This driving tour will begin at the Kettle Creek Environmental Education Center, 8500 Running Valley Road, Stroudsburg, and feature nine gardens in Jackson, Hamilton, Pocono and Stroud townships.Homeowners and volunteers will be stationed in each garden to share their knowledge, methods, ideas and materials used to create their garden. Experienced gardeners will be available to answer gardening and landscape questions.
