A Carbon County woman admitted on Thursday in the county court to stealing from her employer.

Shannon M. Kelly, 30, of Albrightsville, admitted removing cash from the cash register and a six-pack of beer from the Copper Penny Bar located in the Quality Inn along Route 940 in Kidder Township, where she was employed. Township police filed the charges.Judge Steven R. Serfass placed her on probation for 24 months and ordered her to make restitution of $220 to the hotel, pay court costs of about $1,000, pay a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation and render 100 hours of community service.
