A Monroe County man has been arrested on charges of possessing child pornography.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen G. Kane's office announcedthe arrest of Alex A. Pummer, 32, of 547 Main St., Tobyhanna.According to the criminal complaint, Pummer made several purchases of child pornography from a business that marketed "naturist" videos of nude children.Agents from the Office of Attorney General's Child Predator Section and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service located multiple computers and electronic devices with multiple images of child pornography at his residence.Pummer is charged with 60 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.He is in the Monroe County Prison after failing to post $250,000 bail.A preliminary hearing is tentatively scheduled for May 25.
