The 63rd annual special needs fishing derby, sponsored by Germantown Grove Club and Jim Thorpe American Legion Post 304, will be held Thursday and Friday

Planning the event are, from left, Henry Desrosiers, Director of Veterans Affairs in Carbon County; Marcia Miller, representative of the Americare Home Services, and Matt King, past commander of the Legion Post. Americare donated $1,000 toward the tournament. The Legion Post purchases about 900 fish, which costs over $2,000.
