JTNB welcomes new vice president

The Jim Thorpe Neighborhood Bank recently announced the appointment of Eugene "Gino" DeGiosio to the position of VP of Commercial Lending. JTNB CEO/President, Craig A. Zurn, said DeGiosio "brings more than 14 years of various managerial and lending experiences to our community bank."

DeGiosio has a bachelor's degree from East Stroudsburg University and his former careers include SVP/Commercial Lender with Conestoga Bank and VP with PNC Bank managing a team of business bankers covering northeast Pennsylvania.DeGiosio said he looks forward to working with a true community bank that not only cares about its customers but makes lending decisions locally and not in an office located at a distant city by people who never met the applicant. He added that he looks forward to help in any way he can to increase loan volume and build relationships with many of his local and former Lehigh Valley customers who have become frustrated with the "big bank experience."DeGiosio is a native of Summit Hill and is married to his wife, Irene, for 28 years. He has a son Brian who resides in Boston.
