Jim Thorpe Borough is hosting a Flagstaff Road cleanup event on Saturday.

Sponsored by Tamaqua Transfer, the event will be held rain or shine at 10 a.m.Anyone willing to help can call the borough office at 570-325-3025 to sign up.People will meet at the parking area near the trails, right off West Broadway.Borough council said that area does have a steep slope and small children would be better suited at a different site.
