Lansford Borough is imposing parking restrictions in advance of a possible snowstorm headed for the area Saturday.

Police alerted residents on social media Friday that they would be posting no parking signs along the 200, 300 and 400 blocks of West Kline Avenue in the borough.

The post said parking would be restricted in case the streets have to be plowed after an unusually late winter storm that some meteorologists predict will bring as much as five inches to Carbon County on Saturday.
