Class luncheons

Classmates of the 1964 graduating class of Jim Thorpe High School will meet for lunch at noon on Wednesday at Mahoning Valley Country Club. Those attending are reminded to bring a homemade cake for the old-fashioned cakewalk and a potted plant or flower seeds to be exchanged with the members.The fourth annual summer picnic at Hickory Run State Park will be discussed. A report will also be given on the 70th "birthday party" reunion scheduled for September.Members of the 1965 graduating class of Jim Thorpe High School will meet at noon April 21 at the A Ca Mia Italian Restaurant on Route 248 (west) in Walnutport.Community dinnerThe next free community dinner at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Race Street, will take place from 4-6 p.m. April 24.
