The Tamaqua Community Art Center will host its annual Big Benefit Concert on April 22. This is the center's second year for its largest fundraising event.

The concert will feature a lot of different types of matchless entertainment, including rock, country and original music. Stars of the show will be Micah Gursky, former Tamaqua Council president; Bill Moyer, St. Luke's Hospital-Miners Campus president; Sen. Dave Argall; and Tamaqua Mayor Chris Morrison. The show will also introduce Zac Yenser, a guitar student at the art center.Catering will be done by Macaluso's Restaurant of Nesquehoning.Tickets are $100 per person or $1,000 for a private table.All proceeds will benefit the art center, a 501c3 nonprofit organization located at 125 Pine St. in Tamaqua.
