This Kresgeville Church will hold the following services this week. On Maundy Thursday there will be a 7:30 p.m. service with Holy Communion and Stripping of the Altar. A Tenebrae/Service of Shadows service will be held Good Friday. On Sunday, Easter services celebrating the Resurrection with Holy Communion will be held at 7:30 and 10:30 a.m.Zion LutheranThe Brodheadsville United Lutheran Church, Zion Lutheran, begins its Holy Week services at 7:30 p.m. Maundy Thursday, with worship and Holy Communion and the stripping of the altar.On Good Friday, there is a service at 7:30 p.m., and on Saturday, a spoken service will be held at 5 p.m.Easter Sunday includes a 6:30 a.m. sunrise service, and two worship services with the sacrament of Holy Communion at 8 a.m. and at 10:30 a.m.Effort Food PantryEffort UMC's food pantry will hold its regular distribution from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. Those approved for Easter box distribution will pick up the boxes then.Blood drivesSt. Mark's Lutheran Church in Appenzell will host an American Red Cross Blood Drive from 1-6 p.m. Monday. Both blood and double red cells can be donated.On Wednesdays, donate blood from noon to 6 p.m. at the Western Pocono Community Library in Brodheadsville. Ninth St., Stroudsburg. All Monroe County animal lovers are encouraged to attend.One of the primary missions of Monroe Animal League is to educate people in the community about animal welfare issues.Adopt-A-Classrooom offers humane-themed plans and work sheets for teachers. The course will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.Preregistration is required at
