Two bodies were found in a Luzerne County residence last night and state police at Hazleton are investigating.

Troopers and emergency medical services responded at 6:10 p.m. to a home along Alberdeen Road in Dorrance Township to a report of an unresponsive person.While responding to the scene, troopers were advised by EMS personnel that they heard a gunshot from inside the residence. Troopers then secured the perimeter of the residence and contact the state police Special Emergency Response Team to clear the residence.The special unit responded and later entered the home and found two deceased people.Troopers said the investigation is continuing.
