Occupants of both vehicles declined medical treatment at the scene after a rear-end collision Monday on Route 309 in Hometown.

Responders were dispatched to Claremont Avenue in the vicinity of Heisler's Auto Service Center just before noon.Those on scene said it appeared a Honda Civic was traveling northbound in the passing lane and attempting to turn left into the parking lot of a business when the vehicle was rear-ended by a GMC Canyon pickup.Both vehicles ended up on a private parking lot after colliding and traffic flow was uninterrupted along the four-lane highway. Rush Township Police are investigating. No other information was available at presstime.
