A resident who has been outspoken against Nestle's attempt to begin water extraction has been targeted with vandalism.

Donna Deihl and her brother, Doug Borger have been finding Deer Park water bottles thrown into their yards.Deihl, her husband Clint, her sister-in-law Arlene Dunkelberger and Paul and Lisa LoMonaco have since filed an appeal of the township ordinance which would allow the water extraction in the zone where it is located.Just after the appeal was filed, Deihl and Dunkelberger's personal vehicles were drained of oil overnight on the same Saturday night.This past Sunday morning, Deihl and her brother woke to find that their vehicles had been vandalized overnight.Crude and vulgar statements had been painted on car and truck windows. The comments left on Deihl's van window started with the words "Bang Bang."The first reported incident was during the township's traditional Halloween parade. Candy was thrown back at a van carrying senior citizens from Mrs. Bush's Personal Care Home.Joann Bush, an opponent of the Nestle plan, was at the time running a campaign to replace outgoing township Supervisor Gretchen Gannon-Petitt.Bush has since been elected and is vice chairwomen of the board.All of the incidents have been reported to the Pennsylvania State Police.The Deihls and Borgers are going to be more vigilant and will "beef up "security. Deihl said she will be reaching out to the newly formed West End Crime Watch for some help.
