State police at Lehighton are investigating a shooting early Saturday at this home at 8738 Little John Drive in Robin Hood Lakes, Polk Township.

The incident occurred at 3 a.m. according to neighbors between a male and a female. It is believed it was the male who suffered the gun shot wound to the stomach - chest area. He was rushed to an area trauma center.
