Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bridge serving Carbon County will hold its annual fundraiser, Bowl For Kids Sake, a bowl-a-thon, on March 19 at Fritz's Lanes and Pro Shop, Second and South streets in Lehighton. Starting time is 10 a.m. The last time spot to bowl is 3 p.m.

This fun-filled day provides an opportunity for anyone to join in the Bowl For Kids Sake. Participants are asked to form a team of five bowlers (family, friends, co-workers or neighbors). Each bowler is given a sponsor sheet to secure donations. Raise $50, you will receive a Bowl For Kids Sake T-shirt. The team captain will receive a T-shirt. The team needs only to bowl one game.Businesses and organizations can be involved by being a Lane Sponsor for $100, Pin Partner Sponsor at $50 or a Friend of Big Brothers Big Sisters for $25.Jenna Sargent is the local caseworker. She works out of the Stroudsburg office of Big Brothers Big Sisters on a part-time basis.
