The Palmerton Area Democratic Club will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesdayfor a pot luck dinner followed at 7 p.m. by the monthly meeting at the home of Chris and Sue Olivia, 1036 Circle Drive, Palmerton.

The featured speaker will be attorney Neil Makhija, Democratic candidate for 122nd District state representative in the April 26 primary.The club collects canned goods at each meeting to be donated to the Food Bank run by the Community Action Council of Palmerton Area Churches.The club covers Palmerton, Bowmanstown, Towamensing Township and Lower Towamensing Township. Meetings are at 7 p.m. the second Tuesday of the month from September to May, with location to be announced. Annual dues cost $1 a year.
