A section of Route 209 near Brodheadsville has been re-opened after a crash Saturday afternoon.

The county's Office of Emergency Management sent out an alert that the road was reopened around 2:15 p.m.

The road had been closed for about an hour due to a motor vehicle accident near the intersection with New Brodheadsville Blvd.

According to published reports, two vehicles collided head-on and one person was airlifted from the scene.
