The Marian Fillies advanced to the District 11 Class AA semifinals with a win over Salisbury on Friday night by a 46-28 score. The Fillies will now meet Pine Grove, a 55-38 winner over Palisades, on Tuesday night at a site and time to be determined.

The Lehighton boys were defeated by Pottsville, 52-31, in a District 11 AAA Boys quarterfinal, ending their season. The Crimson Tide will play Bethlehem Catholic in a Tuesday semifinal.

In another District 11 Class AAA Boys quarterfinal, Salisbury held off Jim Thorpe 60-55. The Falcons will meet Blue Mountain in Tuesday's other semifinal.
