A Schuylkill County man admitted stealing fishing equipment reportedly valued at over $18,000.

Brad Charles Comisac, 37, of New Ringgold, pleaded to one count of theft, as a felony three, before Carbon County Judge Steven R. Serfass on Friday.He was charged by Lehighton police with taking fishing equipment valued at $18,131 from a propertyon Cypress Street, about Feb. 6, 2014.Serfass deferred sentencing to Feb 23. There will be a hearing to determine the exact amount of restitution. The restitution figure submitted to police is being challenged by Comisac.
