Gold Ticket winners

The January winners of the Gold Tickets at L.B. Morris Elementary School have been announced. Those students receiving the award were Sydney McArdle, Darren Zheng, Chase Reese, Clara Carrick, Christalee Valdez and Mark Domski.Ash WednesdaySt. John's Lutheran Church, South Avenue, will observe Ash Wednesday on Wednesday. There will be imposition of ashes at noon. The Rev. Peter Muhr will be available in the afternoon for counseling, confessions and concerns.The Service of Imposition will take place at 7 p.m. There will be a liturgy with songs, homily and communion.Community dinnerSt. Mark's Episcopal Church, Race Street, will host the free community dinner from 4-6 p.m. Feb. 28 at the church.
