Mary Kluskiewicz, a resident of Heritage Hill Senior Community in Weatherly, is celebrating her 97th birthday.

Born in Junedale on Feb. 5, 1919, Mary was married to Stanley Kluskiewicz in August 1943. They were married for 43 years until his death in 1986.She has three children: Joseph Kluskiewicz, McAdoo; James Kluskiewicz, Nazareth; and Stanley Kluskiewicz of Kintnersville. She also has seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Mary was employed at various garment factories before retirement. She is a member of All Saints Catholic Church in McAdoo. Over the years, Mary has enjoyed traveling, going to casinos, bingo and doing word puzzles. Her talents include sewing and crocheting.
