Kathleen Marie Gerhard, daughter of Commissioner Tom J. and Sue Ann Gerhard of Weatherly, graduated from the Temple University School of Social Work program with a Master of Science degree in social work. Commencement exercises were held on Dec. 17, 2015.

The 2002 graduate of Marian Catholic High School graduated from Misericordia University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in social work.Gerhard currently resides in Clarks Summit and has accepted a position with Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Wilkes-Barre.
