Laneco Inc. of Easton, which already has local department stores in Lehighton and Hometown, plans to open its second store in Schuylkill County next month, according to officials of the retailer.The store will open in a month or two in the Cressona Mall, along Route 61 about 3 miles south of Pottsville. It will occupy a building once occupied by Grant's department store.Laneco opened a supermarket-department store in the Hometown Mall, north of Tamaqua, about two months ago.
