Parole/probation revocation hearings were held by Carbon County judges on petitions filed by the adult probation office against defendants who violated the terms of their release.

The following defendants were found in violation of their parole/probations.Kristen Tyahla,27, of Lehighton, had her parole revoked on a charge of criminal use of a communication facility on petition of probation officer Jillian C. McGinley for violating conditions by testing positive for nonprescribed drugs and failing to complete drug and alcohol treatment.President Judge Roger N. Nanovic II resentenced her to serve five months backtime in the county prison effective Sept. 9, 2015.Justin Conklin,20, of Lehighton, had his probation revoked on a charge of simple assault on petition of McGinley for violating conditions by failing to report to the probation office as directed and testing positive for opiates, which violated the zero-tolerance condition.Nanovic resentenced him to serve four to 12 months in the county prison effective Sept. 14, 2015, and ran it consecutive to a probation term he was serving in another case.Erick Mack,35, of Lansford, had his parole revoked on a charge of arson on petition of probation officer Clifford Eckhart for violating conditions by failing to make a concerted effort to pay court costs and failing to complete 100 hours of community service.Judge Joseph J. Matika resentenced him to serve six months backtime in the county prison effective Nov. 30, 2015.Greg Vandermartin,30, of Nesquehoning, has his probation revoked on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia on petition of Eckhart for violating conditions by failing to report to the probation office as directed, testing positive for a controlled substance, failing to submit to scheduled drug screens and violating the zero-tolerance condition.Matika resentenced him to serve four to 12 months in the county prison with credit for 109 days already served. The effective date is Nov. 30, 2015.David Leone,25, of Summit Hill, had his parole revoked on a charge of fraud on petition of Eckhart for violating conditions by not having a stable, approved residence, and failing to submit to scheduled drug screens.Judge Steven R. Serfass resentenced him to serve the balance of his sentence, which runs to Nov. 23.Kelly Sue Neff,47, of Palmerton, had her parole revoked on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia on petition of probation officer Kimberly Cooper for violating conditions by testing positive for amphetamine, which violated the zero-tolerance condition.Nanovic resentenced her to serve six months in the county prison effective Oct. 7, 2015. She was made eligible for work release privileges.Dale Schleicher,36, of Lehighton, had his parole revoked on a charge of corruption of minors on petition of Cooper for violating conditions by testing positive for amphetamine and marijuana and admitted using methamphetamine twice weekly, which violated the zero-tolerance condition.Nanovic resentenced him to serve 90 days in the county prison effective Nov. 3, 2015, with a five-year consecutive probation period. His minimum release date is Feb. 1.Jeremy Whiteman,36, of Palmerton, had his parole revoked on a charge of resisting arrest on petition of Cooper for violating conditions by testing positive for alcohol, which violated the zero-tolerance condition.Serfass resentenced him to serve out his maximum term, which runs to Oct. 3. He was made eligible for work release privileges.Steven Wright,24, of Palmerton, had his parole revoked on a charge of identity theft on petition of Cooper for violating conditions by not residing at his reporting residence and whereabouts unknown, testing positive for marijuana and failing to report for a scheduled urine screen.Serfass resentenced him to serve six months in the county prison effective Sept. 16, 2015. He was made eligible for work release privileges.Todd Greene,41, of Harrisburg, had his parole revoked on charges of receiving stolen property and burglary in one case, and parole revoked in a charge of operating a meth lab on petition of Cooper for violating conditions by failing to report to the probation office as directed, he was arrested on a charge of possession of a firearm prohibited, and failing to submit to a scheduled urine screen, which violated the zero-tolerance conditions.Serfass resentenced him to serve eight to 18 months in the county prison effective Aug. 12, 2015. His minimum date for release is April 12.
