Washington Township supervisors were told on Jan. 5 that an ambulance went into a driveway and the swale was so deep the rear of the vehicle hit the ground.

It is for $10,000 and has to be applied for by one of the municipalities in the Northern Lehigh Recreation Authority since the authority cannot apply.Keith Strohl was named to the property maintenance appeals board.Resident Ed Ziegler commented that nobody shows up for meetings. He asked if the board was considering forming a local police department, because that is what he is hearing.Supervisor Josh Friebolin said there has been no discussion about one.
