A total of five defendants, who previously pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, were sentenced Monday in Carbon County court.

President Judge Roger N. Nanovic II imposed sentences on the following.Sean Patrick Alboucq, 27, of Lehighton, was sentenced to serve 30 days in prison followed by 59 months in the county's Intermediate Punishment Program with the first 60 days on electronic monitoring.He was arrested on April 19, 2015, by Mahoning Township police along Route 443. Alboucq was uncooperative with officers. When taken to the Lehighton hospital for a blood test, which he refused, he caused a disturbance. He was charged with persistent disorderly conduct and also pleaded to that charge.Nanovic placed him on probation for a year on the conduct count, concurrent to the DUI charge.He was also ordered to pay a fine of $2,500, license suspended for 18 months, and make restitution of $764.18 to Mahoning Township.He will serve the prison term on consecutive weekends beginning Jan. 22 at 6 p.m.Daryl Jay Behler, 53, of Lehighton, was sentenced to serve 72 hours to 6 months in jail, a fine of $2,500, license suspended for a year and zero tolerance for drug and alcohol use. He will begin the jail term at 6 p.m. Jan. 21.He was arrested on March 18, 2014, by state police at Lehighton along Fairview Street in Franklin Township. A test showed the presence of a controlled substance.Charissa M. Butchko, 31, of Summit Hill, was sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months in jail, a fine of $1,000, license suspended for a year and make restitution for damages of $3,620.59.She was arrested on May 26, 2012, after being involved in an accident along Mill Road in Mahoning Township. A test showed the presence of a controlled substance.She was previously placed in the Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition probation program but was revoked from it for violating conditions.Barry Lee Ohl II, 39, of Palmerton, was sentenced to serve 30 days to one day less six months in prison, pay a fine of $2,500 and license suspended for a year. On a summary offense he was fined $200 and costs. The sentence runs consecutive to another term he is currently serving.He was arrested on March 2, 2015, along Second Street at Lehigh Avenue by Palmerton police. A test showed the presence of a controlled substance.He will begin the jail term at 7 p.m. Jan. 22 and serve it on consecutive weekends.David Edward Rowe, 51, of Palmerton, was sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months in jail, a fine of $1,500 and license suspended for a year.He was arrested on May 25, 2015, by state police at Lehighton.He will begin the jail term at 5 p.m. Jan. 21.Each defendant must also pay court costs of about $1,000, pay a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation/parole, and follow all recommendations of their drug and alcohol assessment.
