Police are reporting that an attempted armed robbery occurred shortly before 12:30 at the Jim Thorpe Neighborhood Bank on Route 903 in Penn Forest Township.

Police said the suspect, whose gender was not determined, was wearing all black, with a sweatshirt with the hood up.

The suspect left the bank on foot. Witnesses said another suspect might have been involved.
