State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a burglary at a Schuylkill County residence in which a large amount of cash, jewelry and prescription medications were taken.

Troopers said the break-in occurred at the residence of a 67-year-old woman on Freiden Manor in Wayne Township, sometime between Dec. 24 and 27. Forced entry was made to the residence, troopers said. The entire home was ransacked.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-739-1330.
