The Eldred Township board of supervisors was forced to move the monthly meeting to the Kunkletown Fire Company, because all the attendees wouldn't fit into the township meeting room.
The township is boiling in controversy because of a proposed water extraction by Nestle.
The company filed the permit for a special exception last week, just days after the township residents brought a suit charging that the ordinance allowing the extraction was enacted improperly.
More than 100 people are present for the meeting, rescheduled to begin at 8 p.m.
