A Schuylkill County man is facing charges as the result of a domestic incident reported on Friday about 5 p.m.

State police at Frackville responded to 1164 W. Centre St., in West Mahanoy Township, for a report of a domestic incident. On scene troopers determined that John M. Pikitus, 45, of that address, grabbed his 43-year-old wife by the hair and pulled her into the house during a domestic dispute. The woman fled the scene on foot to get away. Troopers later removed Pikitus from the home on an emergency protection from abuse order placed on him by a district judge. Troopers said a charge of harassment will also be filed against Pikitus.
