The Palmerton Police Department announced the following charges this week:

Anthony McGraw: 28, and Garry Hoffner: 37, both of Palmerton, were charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft and receiving stolen property in connection with an incident that occurred Aug. 18 in the 300 block of Alley E. McGraw and Hoffner were also charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft and receiving stolen property in connection with another incident that occurred Aug. 29 in the 300 block of Alley E.Jacob Serrano: 26, of Palmerton, was charged with simple assault and harassment. The alleged incident occurred Oct. 18 in the 300 block of Avenue A.Durrell Cotton: 29, of Lehighton, was charged with DUI, driving on roadways laned for traffic, and driving on the right side of the roadway after an incident that occurred Aug. 22 on Route 248 west.Joseph Earley: 24, of Coaldale was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and retail theft in connection with an incident that occurred Oct. 26 in the 600 block of Delaware Avenue.Kenneth Lafata: 42, of Palmerton, faces a DUI charge in connection with an incident that occurred Oct. 15 on Avenue A.Claudette Wiley: 38, of Palmerton, was charged with retail theft after an incident that occurred Oct. 21 in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.Kurt Eckhart: 27, of Palmerton was charged with DUI and careless driving. The alleged incident occurred Oct. 5 in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.Police also filed six citations against area residents, including citations for driving under suspension, vehicular hazard signals, retail theft and expired inspection.
