Monroe Winter Farmers Market opens

With the outdoor market season having drawn to a close, Monroe Winter Farmers Market is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in its new location inside the Newberry building, aka SOHO in the Burg Art Gallery at 600 Main St. in Stroudsburg.Thirteen vendors make up the winter market lineup: Apple Ridge Farm, Aspen Ridge Farm, Cakes & Scones Bakery, The Daily Bread Bakeshop, Easton Salsa Company, Gross Family Dairy, Kitchen Witch Soaps, Mathez Farm, Menegus Farm, Pocono Limited Winery, Rolling Hills Farm, Special Lady’s Specialties and Woodsfresh Mushrooms.Represented by these vendors will be fresh seasonal produce, pasture-raised meats, raw milk, local honey, local wine, jams and jellies, fresh baked goods, goat milk soaps, apple cider, mushrooms and more.The farmers market accepts SNAP/EBT.
