OLOAA names September Students of the Month

Nine students from Our Lady of the Angels Academy in Lansford were recently named Students of the Month for September.

They were selected because they exhibited the virtue of responsibility.The following are quotes from each student.Kindergarten, Danika Blazosky: "I was on blue nine times."First grade, Braxton Roetz: "I completed all my homework and listen to my teacher."Second grade, Derek Schlosser: "I try to be responsible by doing my work on time, cleaning up after myself, and remembering others' feelings."Third grade, Alexandra Feller: "I am responsible. I finish my work on time. I am respectful in class and listen to my teacher. I try to help whenever I am needed."Fourth grade, Stephen Behun: "I am responsible. I demonstrate being responsible by taking care of my school supplies and books. I also stay on task during school activities. I complete my homework and assignments. I also try to look out for my little brother and sister."Fifth grade, Kamryne Smith: "I complete my homework every day. I hold the door for people. I always organize my things. I always turn in my work correctly. I try to be a good person every day."Sixth grade, Emilia Tenisci: "I do all of my homework and do it without being asked."Seventh grade, Tatianna Zeleniak: "I hand my homework in the day it is due, I keep my desk very organized, and I help my teachers and other students."Eighth grade, Nadiya Sieger: "I show signs of being responsible. I set an example for those around me by showing and leading them to do what they need and be responsible by taking charge."
