Lillian (Sverchek) and Adam M. Holota of Coaldale recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married on Oct. 8, 1955. The wedding was officiated by the late Rev. John Kovacik at St. John's Slovak Lutheran Church in Lansford.

Mr. Holota is a former Tuscarora resident. He is also a 24-year retiree of the United States Air Force.They have four children: Michael and Martin of Seattle, Washington; Mark of Tuscon, Arizona; and Richard of Coaldale.The couple celebrated with their children to honor the occasion.
