Sandra Labenburg and John Foster

Grace Community Church in Lansford was the setting for the July 18 wedding of Sandra Virginia Labenburg, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry T. Labenburg Sr., formerly of Lehighton, and John Thomas Foster, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Foster of Camden, New Jersey. The Rev. Jeremy Benack officiated the double ring ceremony.

Given in marriage by her brother, David Bowman Sr. of Tamaqua, the bride was attended by her sister, Mary Schaeffer, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Linda Bowman, Lisa Schaeffer, Jen Schaeffer, Audrey Schaeffer, Karen Oswald and Tynesha Schaeffer. Emily Frey was the flower girl.The bride wore a white satin gown and a red sash with bling. Her attendants wore the colors of the rainbow.Best man honors were performed by the bride's brother-in-law, John Schaeffer Sr. Groomsmen were Todd Schaeffer, John Schaeffer Jr. Josh Schaeffer, Emilio Yarro, Peter Rubinic and David Bowman Sr. Damien Schaeffer, the great-nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.The newlyweds held a reception with family and friends at the Palmerton Rod and Gun Club. They are planning a trip to Split Rock Lodge in the Poconos.The new Mrs. Foster is a graduate of Jim Thorpe Area High School. She is retired.Mr. Foster is a graduate of Lenape High School in Medford, New Jersey. He is also retired.The couple lives in Lansford.
