A Palmerton couple on Friday admitted their roles in the theft of hundreds of pounds of copper wire from the Alliance Sand Company.

Carbon County president Judge Roger N. Nanovic deferred sentencing Maria Lyn McKittrick, 50, and Gregory Alan Seip, 44.McKittrick and Seip each pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property. They were charged by Palmerton police on July 20.Police discovered the wire when they were called to the couple's home for a domestic dispute.
