Anthony Pieracini of Las Vegas, son of James and Marie Pieracini of Tamaqua, received a master of science degree in nursing, as a family nurse practitioner, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in May.

He achieved National Certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.A 2000 graduate of Marian High School, Pieracini earned a bachelor of science degree in Nursing from Widener University in 2005.He is employed by Anthem Inc.
