The Lower Towamensing Township Zoning Hearing Board will meet at 7 p.m. today.

At that time, resident Andrew Farro will request a variance to construct a swimming pool deck at his residence at 375 Little Gap Road in Palmerton.The township's zoning ordinance requires a 10-foot minimum side yard setback. The application submitted requests that this distance be reduced to as much as two feet.The board will take testimony, deliberate and may vote on this request at the hearing.
