The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists traveling on the Northeastern Extension (I-476) north of Mahoning Valley (Exit 74) and south of Route 903 E-ZPass Only (Exit 87) to be prepared for intermittent shoulder closures to be effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today.

At 8 a.m. construction crews will close the shoulder at various locations northbound between milepost A75 - A78 to place concrete for new sign structure foundations until the pattern is lifted by 5 p.m.

Motorists are urged to obey posted 55 mph speed limits and use extra caution when approaching all work areas. Construction-zone speed limits are enforceable, and fines will be increased.
